Véronique joined the National Capital Commission (NCC) in 2007 and serves as Vice-President, Policy, Public and Legal Affairs. Prior to her arrival at the NCC, she was Senior Director of Policy and Stakeholder Engagement at the Standards Council of Canada, where she advised on a wide range of regulatory and trade priorities.
She previously held senior executive roles at the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority, supporting security screening operations at airports across the country. Earlier in her career, she served as legal counsel with the Department of Justice and as a legislative advisor to Canada’s 21st prime minister, the Right Honourable Paul Martin.
A proud graduate of the University of Ottawa and a member of the Barreau du Québec, Véronique and her husband Brent chose Ottawa as their home more than two decades ago. They enjoy life in the National Capital Region with their son, an avid football player.
