In collaboration with its partners, the NCC offers equipment rentals in Gatineau Park. Equipment can also be rented from various shops near the park.
Non-motorized boats (spring-summer 2026)
Rental of non-motorized boats is available at Philippe Lake and La Pêche Lake. There is no rental service at Meech Lake.
Solo kayaks and paddleboards
- 1.5 hour: $30
- Every additional 0.5 hour: $5
- All day: $70
- Late fee: $5 / every 0.5 hour
Canoes and tandem kayaks
- 1.5 hour: $35
- Every additional 0.5 hour: $5
- All day: $80
- Canoe-camping at la Pêche lake:
- 24 hours: $80
- 48 hours: $150
- 72 hours: $200
- Full week: $300
- Late fee: $5 / every 0.5 hour
Rates do not include taxes.
Boat rental includes two life jackets and two paddles.

Road bikes and mountain bikes
Relais plein air rents bikes (hybrid electric bikes, mountain bikes, tandem bikes and bike trailers).
Nomades du Parc also has a bike rental station at the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre (electric, gravel or mountain bikes). You can pick up your bike at the nearby Nomades du Parc store.
Four-wheel mobility scooters (quadricycles)
Relais plein air lends out mobility scooters for free.
Binoculars
Borrow a pair of binoculars from the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre to observe birds and wildlife. This free loan is on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on availability. Binoculars must be returned on the same day.
Cross-country skis, snowshoes and fat bikes
Winter equipment rentals are available at Relais plein air (cross-country skis, snowshoes, snow bikes, adaptive cross-country ski sledge for persons with reduced mobility).
